January Newsletter
Hello Neighbors! Happy New Year! The board is very excited about the up coming events planned for this year. Anna Lee is planning a soup swap, bunco might becoming to your neighborhood soon, if there is enough ladies wanting a ladies night out once a month, and willing to host. The annual Easter Egg Hunt will be planned for the spring. Congratulations to our home owners whom won the Christmas Decor home contest! Beautifully decorated, we hope you enjoy your gift card! Also, the board purchased new street post wreaths for our neighborhood, keeping well under budget. Thanks to Dana Smith and Anastasia Pothoven for a great job decorating and removing in a timely manner. We hired a snow plow driver for the season and lucky for all of us, the city has stepped up and cleared our streets before we needed to pay for his service. We will use him in the event of heavy snowfall. Thank you Stephen Kron for taking care of this much needed service. We are planning to purchase more SFCA magnets for trash and recycle schedules. I received several calls and emails from our neighbors requesting a new magnet, so thanks to James Covey, he has agreed to volunteer to steer this project again. the board is looking for a neighbor to chair the Welcome committee or sunshine committee also. It is a needed committee , welcoming a new neighbor, new baby, or organized for a family with illness. Please contact Dana Smith if interested. Hope everyone is enjoying this New Year!
