March Newletter Info

Hello Neighbors,  We are having the Annual Easter Egg Hunt this year at the home of Greg and Natalia Mueller.  2501 Sawmill Forest Cul-de-sac. Please bring 1 dozen plastic,  candy -filled eggs for each child .  Greg’s email is unionblue1@msn.com  to send in your rsvp.  Please do so , as we would like to have a headcount for the juice and donuts provided by your SFCA.  This event is well attended and open to everyone.  So bring your coffee, kids and baskets with a dozen eggs and  a camera to capture all the fun. It is scheduled for 10:00 am on Saturday, March 30th. The front yard will be divided into two age groups so it will be fun and fair for all!  Hope to see all the children of Sawmill Forest at the annual Easter egg hunt.  Secondly, I would like to thank our vice president, Anna Lee and our web master, James Covey for the great job on researching, designing , and distributing the SFCA trash and recycle magnets that everyone should have received on their front porch or metal doors.  The magnet should help remind all of us the correct day for collection.  James worked many hours on the magnets for SFCA. Thanks again!  All neighbors are gearing up for Spring Yard and House cleaning as well.  Be sure to check clogged gutters , clogged street curbs, and sewers so all rain waters flows freely AWAY from your home and into the sewers. Please take time to replace, repair, or paint your mailbox post or box.  Several neighbors are in the process of listing or are listed to sell, and curb appeal is helpful to maintain and beautify our neighborhood.  Anastasia and I will be putting up the beautiful flower baskets on the street poles this spring. Please be kind and SHOWER and SPRINKLE the flowers if they are on your corner yard.  We will be canvassing the curb area after the spring rains to kill the unsightly weeds they seem to spring up so please help in cleaning up curbs of leaves, twigs and trash.  The next scheduled SFCA metting is at the home of Doug and Dana Smith , Spirowood St.  at 7 p.m. Hope to see more of you there , we need volunteers to set up and tear down for the annual Block Party scheduled for June 22 ., Sue Bardoz, chairperson.  Happy Spring!
